Day 17 on the Vermont Long Trail

We woke up to a delicious breakfast at the inn with MaGyver and Mary. They were headed home for the weekend. After breakfast we caught the shuttle to Rutland to resupply. I tried to use the computer at the library but they require you to get a library card, which requires an ID. So no computer time for me. While the kids and I were at the library, Family Mule took a shuttle to EMS to pick up the new water filtration system. He bought a Platypus. He also surprised me with a new set of trekking poles! I was very pleased. We walked over to the Walgreen’s and grabbed a couple knee braces. Hoping they help. We then had lunch at the Yellow Deli. Family Mule ordered the Deli Rose again of course. He says its the best sandwich he has ever eaten. After all our errands were completed we headed back to the inn to relax before our journey continued tomorrow.
