Someday is today
We had an early start this morning. The trail was mostly an easy hike. Shortly after we began the hike we came to a suspension bridge. The bridge had an amazing view! We refilled our water bottles at Roundtop Shelter. The water source is a well located .1 off the trail. Roundtop Shelter is a three-sided shelter with skylights. The trail had a gradual incline with a few rocks to climb, however nothing like in comparison to what we have already completed. We made it to Corliss Camp after 11.4 miles. .Corliss Camp had a cabin, which was fairly nice. We used our tents. The area has several great options for tent camping. The nice was very peaceful.
I ended up staying here with the group I hiked with. It was two high school kids from New Hampshire and their dog Caspian, Kevin (the guy who was hammock camping at the shelter I met yall in two days north of Maine Junction. We heard what i thought was a mountain lion, but kevin thought was a Fischer, howling and kill something. It was super creepy, but cool to know you are in actual wilderness
