Hi everyone! I would like to take a moment to introduce you to me and my family. My name is Crystal aka Momma Bear!  The rest of the tribe consist of  my husband, Ryan  aka Family Mule (formerly Bo Bonzi), our daughter, MaCayla (age 12) aka Dreamer (formerly Sissy Bear), and our son, Nolan (age 8) aka Tiny Turtle. We found the references scarce when it came to family backpacking. The sources are abundant for individual backpacking, but add children and it changes. This is our learning process. The great thing about this blog is that it is intended for anyone and everyone that would like to gain insight regarding backpacking, camping, hiking, or rock-climbing from various viewpoints and various trails!
